Less is More

The minimalist book - Everything that remains
Book – Everything That Remains: A Memoir by The Minimalists Millburn, Joshua Fields; Nicodemus, Ryan

Introduction to Minimalism

In 2013 and 2014, I embarked on a journey to explore minimalism, discovering resources like The Minimalists’ website, www.theminimalists.com. Their insightful blog posts and engaging posts on their X account (formally Twitter), @TheMinimalists, became sources of inspiration. At that time, my goal was to purchase a flat in London, but financial constraints forced me to consider smaller studio flats. Coincidentally, Joshua and Ryan were touring London with their book during this period, which presented an ideal opportunity to seek their insights.

On October 8, 2014, I set off for Battersea Park Station, navigating my way to a warehouse in SW11. Despite the discomfort of my shoes, I was determined to meet them in person. Looking back, I realize the importance of planning better and wearing comfortable footwear for that 25-minute night walk. That evening, I bought a copy of their book and had the privilege of meeting both authors. I cherished the experience of receiving their personalized signatures and engaging with them and other attendees.

Menopause

From Hot Flashes to Harmony

Menopause is a natural transition that occurs in a woman’s life when her menstrual cycle ends. This process can cause various uncomfortable symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, insomnia, and vaginal dryness. While there are medications available to help alleviate these symptoms, reflexology is a natural alternative that can provide relief without any side effects. Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves massaging specific points on the feet, hands, or ears to stimulate the body’s healing mechanisms. In this blog post, we will discuss how reflexology can benefit menopausal women.
